- The key ingredients and philosophies underpinning cross-cultural communication

- The different world communication styles and how to recognize them

- How to recognize your own cross-cultural communication strengths and opportunities for improvement

- How to identify and deal with cross-cultural communications problems such as culture shock

- Key skills work on presentations, meetings, negotiation and networking

This cross-cultural communication skills course will empower participants to work effectively with future clients, colleagues and partners from different cultural backgrounds, with a particular focus on the english-speaking world. Focus will be on developing cultural awareness, fluency and intercultural competencies utilising academic modeling tools, case studies and workshops to investigate this ever more important field of study.
