This new course is based on the book “Bringing Up The Boss”, which I discovered reading the “business@wharton” Wharton Business School newsletter.
The book is very readable and offers a range of progressive and practical solutions to handling the various people issues that regularly crop up in organisations ……. I wish the people I had worked for in the past had used them!

As a participant, you will be requested to get to know a chapter (or two) of the book as preparation. During the class there will be “workshop style” discussions, some exercises and of course “role-plays” to practice the ideas/techniques in a safe, and hopefully, fun way.

You’ll also learn what it means to manage yourself in this new role, and how to navigate the often awkward and sometimes challenging situations that arise in this new position.
