In this compact seminar, students are introduced to the fundamental elements of narrative design for digital games, including:
- Narrative structures (linear, branching, open, episodic)
- Worldbuilding
- Character and creature design
- Dialogue (ambient, interactive, cutscenes)
- Environmental narrative
- Quest/mission structures
Working in groups, students develop a short story-driven project in English and present it at the end of the second day of the seminar. English proficiency is not part of the assessment. |
