The seminar provides students with a sound understanding of the structures, modes of operation, and challenges of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the context of international humanitarian aid and development cooperation. Students acquire theoretical, methodological, and practice-oriented knowledge enabling them to professionally plan, implement, and critically reflect on NGO projects. Contextual links to fields of social work are also established.
