In this course, students will use tools and techniques of controlling and managerial accounting to evaluate the performance of a firm.
Students learn how to perform common financial statement analysis.
Students will become familiar with the most widespread key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to analyze a firm's competitive position within an industry.
The course combines theory and practice with a strong focus on practical applications of real world companies.
In the course, we will work with Case Studies from Harvard Business School. |

In Advanced Controlling, we will use the Harvard Business School Case Teaching method in order to evaluate the performance of firms from the automotive and fashion industries, among others. |
