This course will continue to teach core academic and professional language skills using interdisciplinary themes that play an important role in the 21st century global society. The students will learn and use critical thinking skills, intercultural communication skills, negotiation skills, presentation skills, business writing skills, team building, creativity and collaboration, etc. They will further learn to work independently on various business/professional themes using their present knowledge and researching on new aspects of the areas concerned. They will use various ways of communicating ideas to different audiences - for instance, participating in a professional negotiation, pitching an invention/innovation to a global audience, etc. - necessary skills needed in their professional life. Some of the themes that are included in the course are: artificial intelligence (AI), experimental safety vehicles, international negotiations and global branding, latest innovations (eg: autonomous flying machines),etc.
