You are a university student so the chances are your IQ is above average - but what about your EQ?
EQ describes your level of EI (Emotional Intelligence) and the good news is that, unlike IQ, EI skills can be learned and improved at any age.
The course covers a range of the components of Emotional Intelligence, such as Self Regard, Interpersonal Relationships, Assertiveness, Empathy, Problem Solving, Stress Tolerance etc.
Many studies have shown that being more aware of the effect of your own emotions and those of others is an important factor in enabling academic and workplace success.
This is an "experiential" course in a small group setting, ie the group's participation is a vital ingredient, conducted in a friendly supportive atmosphere, which includes surveys, discussions and other activities.
